This was the second school building. It is now a house at 304 Summer Street. At first, one story high, it was erectedd in 1842. The second story was added in 1855. The door at the right was the entrance. The stairs went up past the other door, with both the lower and upper entries across the end of the building. The original school stood where the well was, facing the cemetery.
