Flood waters show the bridge road just above the water and the road covered at the left. Not many years ago the road was washed out here. The Mark Hudson house, 320 Whitman St. is shown in the center and the Horatio Bates house, 616 Bedford St. at the left. Soon after this, the bridge washed away.
