In the foreground is the shoe factory of I. N. Keith. To the right is the house and barn of Tina Hill, oldest daughter of Kate Hill (at 23 Cottage St.). Directly opposite is the W.K. Churchill store, later Flagg's store which housed the Elmwood Post Office. At the right rear, the house with the ell and barn is the Seth Bryant place at 35 East St. At the left rear is the home of Samuel B. Allen and later George Allen at 24 East St.
