The Keenan Barn, which burned, is at the lower left. The corner of the Cushing Mitchell house, also called the Gideon Wilbur House (which was moved to Woods Hole) is shown at the lower right. On Whitman Street, at the far right, is the Mark Hudson house, 320 Whitman St. and the Sumner Knapp house at 306 Whitman St. In the center is the Horatio Bates house at 616 Bedford St. The house beyond was the Ezra Whitman house built around 1800, at 590 Bedford St. About 1880, it was the home of Mrs. Bush. The house on the west side of Bedford St at number 625 was lived in by Mrs. Morse at this time.
