This is a view from West Street showing the west side of the building in the late afternoon light. Buildings at the left are on Bedford St. The first minister of the Society was the Reverand Adonis Howard. He was minister from 1838 to 1843, after which he moved to Medford, Mass., when his daughter Agnes married the Reverand Timothy Otis Paine in 1856.
