Looking north from the steeple of the Elmwood New Church is the Albert Harden house at the lower right. It was built in 1880 at 33 West Street. At the left is the Federal period home of Deacon Samuel Keen 143 West Street, built in 1804. His former home burned on December 3rd, and on the 4th, the amount of $400.00 was raised and on the 11th, friends and neighbors helped to raise this house. It was later the home of Mrs. George Edson in 1890.
